WHO WAS AGNES MACPHIAL?
Agnes Macphail was the first woman elected to the Canadian Parliament. During her lifetime, she was a dutiful daughter and sister, a willful teenager, a dedicated school teacher, and a champion for equal rights and fair treatment for everyone. This website and the Digital Collection showcase not just her political life, but the personal side of Agnes Macphail as she lived in Gray County and explored the world at large.

ABSOLUTE EQUALITY"
ABOUT MY PROJECT
I have always been intrigued by the subject of this project and wanted to explore it further. Taking on this task gave me the opportunity to conduct serious research and produce high-quality work. Moreover, while documenting the entire process, I learned a lot about various methodologies and testing techniques. I’m thrilled about the result, and look forward to the next project. Agnes Macphail is one of the strongest women leaders.
